just a 10-minute stroll to the center. lots of food for breakfast, everything was superb. the owner was friendly. moreover, it has a free parking.

This was my third stay, and I was delighted with the consistent cleanliness and welcoming ambiance. The delicious food and the best Butcombe beer made this visit a highlight.

the staff were efficient and the setting was peaceful. fab food and adequate room - had a fine stay.

Greatly enjoyed the stay, it was just perfect for business trip. The location was good and amazing, close to Barnstaple, Appledoor and Instow as well as a bridge and consequently a very picturesque river. It also was close to the station so easy to get around by public transport.

We enjoyed the lovely views from our comfortable room, especially the bathroom with its charming roll-top bath. The local atmosphere was vibrant and we couldn't get over the excellent food-everything from the fresh prawns to the tender beef was a delight.
