Greatly enjoyed the stay, it was just perfect for business trip. The location was good and amazing, close to Barnstaple, Appledoor and Instow as well as a bridge and consequently a very picturesque river. It also was close to the station so easy to get around by public transport.

Charming decor adds character to the hotel.
The staff's attitude was dismissive when I inquired about vegetarian options. The room was not turned over adequately each day, leaving me with unclean towels.

Charming hospitality with local flavor
The newly renovated room was spacious and had a cozy feel with a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast featured local sausages that were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed engaging with the friendly locals over drinks in the vibrant pub atmosphere. It's perfect for someone looking for a mix of relaxation and a touch of the local community spirit. One drawback was the slight noise from the pub during the evening hours.
